Write for us
Coastal Arts Review welcomes considered pitches about visual art, craft, performance, cultural places and traditions in coastal settings. Send proposals through the Contact page rather than submitting a full article without agreement.
What makes a strong pitch
Name the specific subject, the central question and the reader-facing point. Explain why the coastal setting matters, what makes the proposed angle distinct and how you would support factual claims. A focused pitch is more useful than a broad theme or a list of possible topics.
Contributions we welcome
We consider clear, original proposals for reported features, explainers, essays and carefully framed cultural histories. Pitches should suit general readers, avoid unsupported claims and make room for differences between places and communities.
Before sending
Use the Contact page to share a short summary and any relevant writing samples or links in the message. Do not include confidential material or assume that a pitch has been accepted until you receive a reply.
